Cinco Jotas is recognized internationally as a veritable jewel of Spanish gastronomy. It was founded in the famous jamón town of Jabugo in 1879. Its 100% ibérico pigs have been bred free range in the great meadows of south-west Spain, enjoying an acorn-based diet. Cinco Jotas, true to its origins, has always preserved the purity of the breed without crossing breeding, and also attentively preserved the natural ecosystem where they thrive. The meadows of south-western Spain ensure optimal feeding conditions of the Cinco Jotas pure-bred Iberian pigs.
